Decent size, easy pouring mechanism, had issues with pouring mechanism on other similar products(liquid flow was routed thro' lid open/close part which are difficult to clean).
Retains heat quite well for 4 to 6 hours.

I purchased this after a trip to Japan where I was given one on my trip as a gift.
The Vacuum bottle is tough and durable. You can enjoy really hot coffee 5 hr later.

I love this stainless steel vacuum bottle! It can keep my hot tea hot for 24 hours! And there's one more important thing is, it does NOT leak! Very nice bottle! Worth the $$!

Can't get these in the UK, so had to order from US Amazon after a friend told me they were the dogs danglies.
Small, neat and keeps contents incredibly warm, what more can you ask for....?? I put coffee in it from a Franke Flair coffee machine, but need to just give it a quick zap in the microwave first before pouring it in (as coffee machine dispenses it at quite a low temp) and this has still been hot the following day (almost 12 hours later)
I put soup in it for my wife and 6 hours later she called me from the car to complain it was still too hot to drink.......lol (this scenario sound familiar anyone......??).
Have no complaints other than tomato soup stained inside of cap/pourer but that's my fault as it's not really made for this. I take it when out hunting and it's not let me down yet (except not reminding me to pick it up before heading out..... heh heh) also bought the larger Zojirushi SJ-SHE10 for family trips.

Zojirushi definitely over-thought the functionality of the pouring system on this thermos. It has a neat button you press when you want to open the spout to pour, but the "cool" factor wore off quickly. It cannot cut the stream properly and liquid drips down the side of the thermos. Picture pouring from a coffee mug and the liquid streams down the side.
I drink exclusively green tea out of this thermos, no sugar or milk or anything. With that being said, the screw down spout mechanism is already discolored and "gunky" -- I do wash it every day after I finish my tea... I cannot imagine how grimy this would get if you were drinking coffee or something with sugar or milk in it.
The heat retention of the metal thermos itself is good. Nothing wrong there.
I have other Zojirushi products that I am very satisfied with, but this one is a no-go. I am currently using a Thermos brand 34oz thermos now, and the simple classic screw-in spout is a far simpler and better design -- no spills.
