 Nice cooker for the price, but doesn't stay hot long enough.May 16, 2011

I bought this a few months ago and have used it many times for stews and other crockpot foods. Its well made, easy to clean, holds a lot of food, and is good for cooking and taking to picnics and parties. One issue is that it only stays 'hot' for about 5 hours. Some others like the Tiger thermal cooker hold heat much longer. Still, for 1/4 the price of the Tiger, this was a good deal for me.

In my humble opinion, this item is WAY OVER-PRICED. Once I received it, saw the size and what it actually does, etc, I realized I wasted too much money on it. (DUH right?) If you are looking at this item, you might want to consider buying a wide-mouth vacuum sealed double-wall thermos first to see if it does what you are wanting to do, you may find you can save some money.
