I received this mug and it does everything it says it does!
Coffee is hot for 5 hours. Unit does not leak.
It is a great stainless steel design!
It is the best mug on the market.

I purchased this Thermos travel mug one year ago.
The handle is now broken right through. I have never dropped
it or put in in a dishwasher. In fact I have only used it a few times
on short road trips.
I was one of the first to purchase this mug. Right after I bought mine the
product was put on hold by Amazon and was not for sale due to problems,
I was told, of a faulty handle. It now appears I received one with the faulty
handle.
I will see if Amazon will replace it. I was told of a handle problem at the
time I purchased my mug. The mug was not for sale for a time due to a faulty handle.
I feel they owe me a new mug.

Update:
I am pleased to say that Amazon has given me a refund. I paid $33 for mine.
Hopefully the handles are stronger now. I am replacing with the identical
model that comes without a handle. :-)

Thermos has a warranty on these also. My insert says 5 years and the sticker on
the mug says 10 years. :-)

I have searched high and low for one specific feature in a mug: the contents must stay hot as long as possible. When Thermos says this mug keeps things hot for 5 hours, they are pretty close to the actual mark. Even when the contents are wicked hot, the outside remains chilly, a *very* good sign. It does not leak, the button/value (visible on the top) to allow liquid flow operates positively, and it's very apparent to the eyes and ears which way it is toggled. The valve mechanism is easily disassembled for easy cleanup. Wish they had a fatter/squatter "desktop" type mug, but I'll overlook that for now. Worth every penny.

This mug is great, it doesn't leak - you can turn it upside down and have no issues, it keeps everything so hot for so long - The 360 degree lid and the push to drink lid mechanism is easy and convenient. I don't know why Amazon took it down, if you ask me this is just a fantastic mug. My only complaint would be that it keeps my coffee to hot in the morning - I actually have to open the mug to let it cool (this is after like an hour or 2 of sitting in the mug.)
