5I Would Buy This Again and AgainJul 30, 2010
By K. Groh
We purchased this Thermos (with a Hello Kitty design from Target) over 1½ years ago. It has held up through almost daily use. It is one of the best kids drink holders I've ever had. We actually have two, one blue one pink.

They each came with an extra straw set but my originals are still going strong.

I can put ice water in it in the morning and send my daughter to camp (outside, no refrigerator) and when she gets home late afternoon, there is still ice in it.

We use them for lunches, travel and daily household use.

Milk stays cold for up to 12 hours (although we don't usually let milk stay out that long).

It has been tossed around (not dropped from any great height) and has rolled around the mini van and the only wear it shows is with the imprint on the outside.

We do not wash it in the dishwasher although I think you can and I take the straw apart each time I wash it - it is a two piece part.

Since we put milk in it, I often clean the straw out with a pipe cleaner so that any residual milk is removed. I use a knife point to go around the inside of the straw connecting point because this can sometimes build up some milk stuff.

It sounds like a lot but it takes less than a minute to wash and I feel like it is clean when we are done.

It reassembles so easily. I've had straw cups that have to be carefully threaded and pushed. This just pops in.

A little pricey for a drinking cup but well worth every penny.

2Lid breaks easily.Apr 21, 2011
By Fadetogrey
I bought this bottle for my four and a half year old son. He loves it. He likes the springy lid opening action.
But after 3 months the plastic base fell off. The adhesive wore off. So I had to re glue it.
Then he dropped the bottle, not unusual for anyone, and the plastic lid broke really easily. So did another child's of the same design at his school. It should have been designed with far stronger plastic , especially for a child's bottle.
The lid leaks if not screwed on really tightly. But when screwed on tightly, the silicone straw twists and produces a gap which also leaks. If your child likes to chew the silicone straw, then it will be shredded. I had to cut the straw short as the end become totally shredded. Hey, these are normal child actions. Sorry Thermos, you did a lame job re RnD.
I would not buy another! Next time I will keep it simple with less clever lids and less plastic parts.

3So disappointed =(May 09, 2011

Let me start off by saying Amazon was great to work out and fixed my problem. Now the bad...I originally bought my 1st thermos (exact Toy Story one) at Target. Myself and my kids love it so when they damaged that one after long use I decided to order through Amazon. When I received it the straw was indented in not allowing any liquid to go through. Contacted Amazon and they had me ship it back (free returns) and they sent me a new one. New one and the same problem so they advised me to maybe order througha differnet seller because most likely their inventory was all the same.

1Please read this....worst sippy cup EVER!!!!Jun 13, 2011
By Melissa M. Hess
I have owned Funtainers in the past and have never had a problem with them. Unfortunately, they have changed the design and like many products that do this...the original was much much better. This thing leaks EVERYWHERE!!!! Even with the lid on and it falls on it's side for more than a minute....the entire cup leakes out. It's a mess and also the graphic comes off after washing! I've had these less than 6 months and the graphics are all faded. I hate this cup....and to make matters worse, I bought two :( Even washing by hand only couldn't make this cup work. BOO! Do NOT buy this.

2Container leaksMay 10, 2011
By K. Yung
This is the 3rd Funtainer that I have purchased over the years. Each time I have found that it leaks. The top is not damaged in any way. However, if you shake the bottle hard enough or hold it upside down, then liquid will come out of the straw. The flip cap is supposed to prevent the liquid from leaking out from the top of the bottle, but is not always successful. My son has this bottle in his lunch bag, and it often gets tossed around, sometimes ending upside down and other items sometimes hit the button on the pop cap causing more leakage. I like the concept, but the cap needs to be improved.
