My daughter uses it for hot lunch. Stays hot, wide mouth so she can get her spoon in, nice compact size, but holds enough for her to get a full belly for lunch :) Love it, she loves the look to. Very nice.

We really liked this for our kids' school lunch for a while, until the lid failed. The stainless steel part separated from the screw threads in the plastic. If I could buy a replacement lid somewhere for a couple dollars I'd be happy, but I can't see that they sell any parts anywhere any more.
Until then, it was nice: looks good, feels good, keeps hot food hot until lunchtime at least. Plus the wide mouth and the stainless steel makes it easy to clean inside and out.

The thermos Flower Food Jar is a must have!! My only complain is that it is a little small but my daughter is only 11, so it is okay for now. Highly recommend specially for school!
