Strong plastic odor makes this unusableDec 20, 2008

This product looks nice but that's about it. The gasket on top of the glass liner has a very strong chemical odor which is transferred to its content, especially hot liquids, making this product unusable unless you don't mind tasting chemicals instead of your beverage. I've tried soaking for several days, using very hot water to try and offgas the odor but to no avail.

Seal Leaks !Jul 12, 2009

After a few days use, coffee would start to ooze out the bottom flange of the outer jacket. I disassembled the jacket and found it to be full coffee. The bottle was not broken & the seal seemed OK. So I reassembled it, being very careful to make sure that the seal was properly seated. No luck. Three days later it was seeping coffee again. I repeated the cleaning process, and tried to be observant of my handling, pouring methodology, always vertical, laid on it's side, etc. Nothing seemed to matter. After time it would start to ooze again... All over the counter, my pants, my brief case, my desk...
The thermos was great at keeping my coffee hot, and it cleaned-up great (unlike steel-lined thermoses).
But It's time for the trash !

They're misleading you about the productMar 09, 2010

Description says "green", and I ordered it because I needed this color. I already have a blue one and I needed a different color for a different beverage (for my two very sick parents), so the color was important to me. Of course, they sent me another "blue" one. When I called them, I was told that they do not guarantee the color. In our days of Internet shopping, have you ever heard that?
After I mentioned that the description says "green" and it's misleading, they promised to change the description, well, it's been a week, the wrong description is still there.
