This product only worked for about a week. It seemed to do the job fine, until the inside of it completely shattered after filling it with hot water. I would highly recommend you purchase a different product--preferably one that isn't plastic inside. This is a very cheap ripoff.

What a cheap piece of junk!! Had it for less than a week, which worked extremely well, then it shattered from the inside leaking from the base. I only used it for ice & cold water.

Worked fine for a year, love the lever push top! Then hinge on lid fell off as I was holding container and I dropped it. It shattered the insides and glass went everywhere. Had thermos one for much longer (about 3 years), but do not like the pump button top. The button top is hard to push, especially for kids when we fill up with water and take outside on summer days. Don't think will get another, since kids use it a lot and I did not know that it was glass lined. Thermos one is not, so it is much more durable. Bought mine at Target.

I run a B&B and was putting on a special event where I needed insulated lever pumps for coffee and hot water. I already have two similar carafes made by Thermos that work fine but do not have a means of identifying what they might contain. I ordered 4 Oggi's because they have a glass vacuum container and have what the Thermos' do not have, a dial that allows one to identify what the carafe contains. Nice idea but executed poorly. Each dial was either too tight to move or too loose to stay in one place, so what starts our as "Regular Coffee" changes to "Milk" way too easily. One of the 4 had a weak hinge for the top which allowed it to fall completely off if not gently put in the open position. Another unit's pump did not work properly, allowing for only a sputter when the lever is depressed. These would be fine if constructed much better. I would not buy this brand again, regardless of the price.

I purchased this item to be used for a brunch. I boiled hot water and placed it in the container an the water stayed hot all day. The next day when I attempted to open the container I noticed that steam was coming out and the water was still hot! This is a great product and I am sure I will continue to get a lost of use from it.
