By Esther Mcmillan This dispenser is a perfect solution for having hot coffee avaliable at meetings or for quests and not worrying about having electrical outlets handy. Obtained them from Office Depot and used them at previous employment with great success. Office Depot no longer carries them either.
Switched for no-name chinese productMar 28, 2011

"Bad Machine"
I purchased the 3L ALADDIN air pot from amazon - what has arrived is a no-name Chinese product that doesn't even resemble the purchased product.
There is no manufacturer, no manual - just a white box that says made in China ACF8001-001
Packaging etc is fine - but I expect to receive what I pay for, not some lesser substitution.
One of the main reasons I use amazon is trust - and to date I have found amazon to be efficient and trustworthy. The tricky thing about trust though, is that a stunt like this has to capacity to destroy trust that took may transactions to develop.
I hope amazon appreciate the fundamental importance of their clients being confident that amazon will honour contracts to the letter and use this as an opportunity to engender trust and confidence in the `amazon experience' by doing the right thing here.
I'll be sure to post a followup pending the outcome either way.
Update 2011-04-22
Amazon have now refunded my purchase and return shipping cost from Australia - it was not a process for the faint of heart, but they did the right thing.
